Interview with Herworld by Aneesa A

Been spending time/working/volunteering for Rumah Nur Salam with the kids is great and a fruitful event. All thanks to Dina Zaman for getting me into this NGO organization. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long while. And I've meeting great interesting people in KL, they are all so passionate about what they do for the kids and a street angel indeed.  They may not dress as colorful/flamboyant as the people of the industry that I am in. But, their life are full of colors which something money can't buy or have, only they can experience it. To me, that is incredible....I still have so much to learn from them.

EVERY CHILD MATTERS!

Thich Nhat Hanh

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child — our own two eyes. All is a miracle.

Quote form Mother Teresa

Peole are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives: Be kind anyway. What you spend years creating others could destroy overnight: Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it may never be enough: Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God: it was never between you and them anyway.

Art....

To communicate something of what I feel about what we do as artists, as musicians and as human beings. The sun will not fall down from the sky if there are no more [artists]. The world can and will go on without us but I have to think that we have made this world a better place. That we have left it richer, wiser than had we not chosen the way of art. The older I get, the less I know but I am certain that what we do matters. You must know what you want to do in life, you must decide, for we cannot do everything. Do not think [art] is an easy career. IT is a lifetime’s work; it does not stop here. What matters is that you use whatever you have learned wisely.Maria Callas
